Return Policy





All sales are final. Because our products are made-to-order and immediately go into production, we are unable to offer order cancellations, refunds, or exchanges. Please see sizing information listed for each product to ensure you are ordering the best fit and review your order for accuracy before finalizing your transaction. Laughs To Self® is not responsible for 'change of mind' so please consider your purchase carefully.


The exception to our return, cancellation, or exchange policies is an error on our behalf. If you received an incorrect or defective item, you must notify us within 14 days of your receipt of the item at, with required photos (as noted below), and we will re-send you the correct item free of charge. Read below for REPLACEMENT instructions.



We are unable to process or offer exchanges of products. Because each item is made-to-order, we do not cover size exchanges or returns for buyer's remorse or change-of-mind.



In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is defective or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days at and we will send you a replacement of the same item. Please send us an email at with a description and photos of the issue. Attach one close up photo of the alleged issue with the item and one zoomed out photo of the full product. Once your submission is received, evaluated, and approved for replacement, we will send you an email confirming that a corrected replacement item will be mailed to you. Allow up to 7-14 business days for us to process your replacement product.


Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense. Laughs To Self reserves the right to refuse product replacement if the issue is not a printing, manufacturing, or shipping error which we control.



We are unable to cancel orders once they have been placed, because they immediately are sent to production. In the rare instance that an item you have ordered is temporarily out of stock and has not entered production, we will notify you via email. You must reply to our email within 24 hours if you wish to cancel your order rather than wait for the item to return in stock shortly.  We work quickly to replenish stock and cannot guarantee order cancellation is an option if the item has been replenished and entered production, in which case you should receive the item within the expected timeframe.



Some products may have a light new-garment smell. It is not necessary to return items for this temporary new-garment smell. All garment manufacturers in the industry who use a direct-to-garment print method, like we do, must use a design pre-treatment fixation agent during the printing process which helps the print ink bond with the fabric and prevents the ink from flaking off the garment. As a result, you may observe a temporary vinegar smell when unpacking your new garment which simply disappears after the first wash. Our garment inks are water-based and eco-friendly.
